Kathmandu, Nepal’s capital city, is a cultural area with UNESCO World Heritage Sites like Swayambhunath, Pashupatinath, and Boudhanath. Explore historical sites, temples, and stupas.

2. Pokhara, City of Lakes:
Pokhara is known for its beautiful lakes, such as Phewa Lake and Begnas Lake, which are surrounded by the Annapurna and Machapuchare mountain ranges.

3. Cuisine:
In both cities, sample the diverse Nepali cuisine. In Kathmandu, try momo (dumplings), dal bhat (lentil soup with rice), and Newari specialties.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival at Kathmandu:

  • Receive at TIA
  • Transfer to the respective hotel
  • Overnight at hotel

Day 2: Full day sightseeing at Kathmandu:

  • Visit the Pashupatinath Temple, a sacred Hindu temple, where thousands of devotees pay their respects during the Shivaratri Festival.
  • Visit Boudhanath, the world's largest Buddhist stupa, located just beyond the temple.
  • After lunch, drive to Bhaktapur, the "city of devotees," 12 kilometers east of Kathmandu, known for its pottery and weaving industries.
  • Bhaktapur is 4 square miles in size.
  • Overnight at Kathmandu

Day 3: Drive to Pokhara:

  • After breakfast, drive to Pokhara which is approx. 5-6hrs.
  • Check in the hotel.
  • Overnight at Pokhara.

Day 4: Pokhara Excursion

  • Early morning drive to Sarangkot to witness the majestic sunrise.
  • Breakfast at the hotel
  • Full at sightseeing at Pokhara
  • Overnight at hotel.

Day 5: Drive back to Kathmandu:

  • After breakfast at the hotel, drive back to Kathmandu.
  • Check-in at the hotel.
  • Overnight at hotel

Day 6: Departure.
