    Good to Know

    1. Altitude Considerations:

While Poon Hill is not at a particularly high altitude, it is critical to be aware of the altitude gain during the trek. Acclimatization is usually not an issue on this route, but some people may experience mild altitude symptoms. Stay hydrated and go slowly if necessary.

    1. Weather and Seasons:

The Poon Hill Trek is best done in the spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November), when the weather is clear and the views are spectacular. Even during these seasons, expect cooler temperatures in the mornings and evenings.

Before beginning the trek, trekkers must obtain the Annapurna Conservation Area Permit (ACAP) and the Trekkers’ Information Management System (TIMS) card. These are available.
